Insurance Plans

Our insurance coordinator will work with you prior to your surgery to delineate as clearly as possible any facility costs that are the patient's responsibility. We find that in most cases, patients undergoing surgery at RSI will have a lower out of pocket expense than if having had the same procedure at a local hospital. Our aim is to clearly, and honestly explain and address financial costs to our patients upfront, and to avoid any hidden charges at all times.

Our anesthesiologists and surgeons may or may not be providers for your insurance plan. We will do our best to provide you with an in-network anesthesia provider, should you or your surgeon request one.

Please bring your insurance card with you for every visit.

We are willing to provide any and all care that adheres to your insurance company guidelines but we need your help. It is impossible to keep track of all the individual insurance plan requirements. Each insurance plan has different policies regarding how often services may be rendered and where the services may be performed. We depend on you to know the requirements of your insurance coverage.

If you are covered by more than one plan, please bring a membership card for each plan.

We collect the Co-Payment at the time of the visit. Please remember that insurance is considered a method of assisting the patient with medical expenses and is not a substitute for payment. For your convenience we accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover.

It is our policy to collect any co-pays, co-insurances, and/or deductibles at the time services are rendered (the Center accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express). After your surgery you may receive three separate bills; one from the Surgery Center, one from your physician, and if applicable, another for anesthesia services.

If you do not have health insurance, we ask that you be responsible for our facility charge and
anesthesia fees on the day of surgery, unless other arrangements are made in advance with our
business office.
